Websites for drinks and beverage brands

The bottle or can filling the screen, a colour for every flavour and one button: where to buy.

What a drinks site needs

People first see a drink on a shelf or in a café, and open the site with the can already in hand. Here’s what should be there.

ProjectThrumm Energy
  • The bottle or can, filling the screen

The label can be read, and the glass, the ice and the drops on the can look real. The drink leads the page; everything else stands around it.

  • Flavours and the range

Every flavour or blend has its own colour and its own place on the page. You see at once how many there are and how they differ.

  • Where it comes from and what it’s made of

The place, the water, the tea leaf, the coffee bean or the fruit, what goes in and what is left out: a short story over a few screens. People scroll it rather than read it, so each screen carries one thought.

  • Where to buy

Stores, cafés or an online order, behind one button at the end of the page. If there are many places, it opens a map or a list by city.

  • A page behind the QR code on the label

The code on the bottle or can leads to this same page, so it is built for a phone. With the can in hand, people look for what’s in it and for the other flavours.

Project: a 3D website for Thrumm Energy

A one-page site for an energy drink in five flavours: a drum of cans turns as you scroll, the can in front flies up to the camera, and the neon hall takes the colour of its flavour. The scene is made of 3D objects, not frames: the browser draws the cans itself.

Open the 3D site

ProjectThe site scrolls: the scene moves with the scroll.

  1. The can up close, with three callouts
  2. The phrase on a wall of light, mirrored in the floor

More sites like this

More of the studio’s projects for businesses like this: one-page sites with a scene that moves as you scroll. Each has its own page, with a button that opens the site itself.

  • Zestmere Sparkling Water

Sparkling water in three flavours. Cans dive into a lake and come up again, and each flavour changes the hour over the water.

  • Sablemoor Cold Brew

Cold brew in bottles, three drinks. Glass you can see through, ice that falls into a glass and a pour that follows the scroll.

  • Fizzbrook Kombucha

Three cans: each flavour comes forward with a full turn.

  • Mossling Matcha Bar

A matcha bar with three powders. A tin tips over the bowl, the powder falls, the whisk comes down — and foam rises.

  • Kettlewren Tea House

Loose-leaf tea, six kinds. One day of a leaf, from the misty hillside to the evening cup, and six bowls that each tint the screen.

  • Pulpworth Smoothies

A smoothie bar. Each blend floods the page with its own colour, and a window the shape of a glass opens to the whole screen.

Priced per project

A site with a scene is priced for the project: how many things are in the frame, how many acts the scroll runs through, whether it needs a store. Tell us about the product and we’ll name the price and the timeline.
