The rules for using the Lime Duo website — what it shows, how to read its prices, timelines and the website check, and who owns its content.
About this site
limeduo.com belongs to Lime Duo, a web design studio in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. It presents the studio and its services. By using the site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.
Projects on the site
The projects in “Projects” and on the service pages are the studio’s own work. We made them to show what we can do: websites, online stores, brands, apps and automation. The businesses in these projects are invented; their names, addresses, phone numbers, prices and figures are fictional. Any resemblance to real companies or people is coincidental.
The websites and forms inside the projects are demonstrations: nothing in them is sent or paid for.
If you believe a name or anything else on the site infringes your rights, write to hello@limeduo.com — we will look into it and change it if needed.
Prices, timelines and the website check
Prices on the site are “from” prices, and timelines are approximate. They are a guide, not a final offer. The exact price, timeline and scope depend on the task and are set out in the agreement we sign with each client. If the site and the agreement differ, the agreement applies.
The “Website check” page shows measurements made by Google PageSpeed Insights. The result depends on the moment of the check and can differ from one run to the next. It is a guide — not an audit, and not a promise of particular numbers after our work.
Research figures on the site come from other organizations’ studies, and each names its source. They are not the studio’s results and not a promise of results.
Site content
The texts, design, images, video and code of the site belong to Lime Duo. You are welcome to browse the site and share links to it. Copying its content, or using it on other sites or in advertising, requires our written permission.
The names and marks of third-party services — Shopify, WordPress, Google and others — belong to their owners. We mention them to describe our work; this does not mean those companies are connected with the studio or endorse it.
Liability
We try to keep the information on the site accurate and up to date, but we do not promise that it is free of mistakes or that the site is always available. The site is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, the studio is not liable for losses arising from the use of the site or of the information on it. Responsibility for a particular project is described in the agreement with the client.
The site links to other websites. We are not responsible for their content.
Law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Disputes are heard by the courts of Alberta.
We may change these terms; the new version applies from the date at the top of the page.
