Brothmere Ramen
A one-page website for a ramen shop in a back alley. The page builds one bowl in order: the broth is ladled, the noodles are shaken dry, the egg is halved, and the bowl goes over the counter. Every picture is a frame of a clip made for the page, and the scroll turns them one by one.

What we made
- One bowl in seven clips made for the page: the alley, the pot, the broth, the noodles, the egg, the bowl, the first noodles on chopsticks
- The red of the lantern floods the screen and becomes the page; the kitchen opens in a window in its margins
- The line of the shop in two halves: “Slow broth.” rises on the red, “Fast noodles.” runs sideways on the gold of the broth
- Six things of the bowl as six stills, then the bowl from above: six names ride past, each tied to its thing
- The scroll turns the clips frame by frame, forwards and back; at rest the picture stands still
- A typeface pair of its own, a footer made as the place kept for the next guest, a phone version
