Latherby Handmade Soap
A one-page website for a soap workshop, told as the making of one loaf: oil, oats and lavender, the mould, the cut, the stamp, the band, the lather. Nine clips made for the page are cut into frames: the scroll turns them, and the words and colours of the page lie on top.
A workshop and one loaf
Four acts: the workshop, the oil, the loaf and the lather. Between them the sentence of the house grows by a few words in each block.

What we made
- One loaf in nine scenes, from the olive oil to the lather under the tap
- Nine clips made for the page and cut into frames: the scroll turns them one by one, both ways
- The sentence of the house said piece by piece: large words on sage and rose, callouts, a line running sideways
- Windows the shape of the thing: a bar of soap on the sage, a paper band across the rose
- Six pictures cut two to one, as a bar lies: one loaf that draws apart as the page goes
- A typeface pair of its own, a footer made as the opened paper band of a bar, a phone version
