One-page 3D websiteProject

Frostwhistle Ice Cream

A one-page website for an ice-cream café with five flavours churned on the spot. It follows one cone: the street at noon, the churn, the row of tubs, two scoops on a waffle cone, the hand that holds it out. The scroll moves through frames and clips made for the page.

A street, five tubs and a cone

One story in four acts: the street and the churn, the five flavours, the cone built scoop by scoop, the serving window with one button.

Open the 3D site

ProjectThe site scrolls: the scene moves with the scroll.

  1. The page opens: a pink café on a sunny street
  2. The churn pushes the strawberry out, and its name rides up on a capsule
  3. A long round window in the sky blue: the tubs in a row, a flag to each flavour
  4. The finale: the cone held out at the serving window, and one button

What we made

  • The way of one cone in eight clips made for the page, from the street at noon to the hand at the serving window
  • Two floods that become the page: the sky blue of the house and the pink of the strawberry scoop
  • Round windows in those pages: a long one for the five tubs, a tall one for the cone, a low one for the serving window
  • Flags and tags of the flavours, each with its colour chip, tied to the tub or the scoop it names
  • The line of the house on two blocks askew, and a ribbon of the five flavours that runs sideways
  • A typeface pair of its own, a footer made as the lid of a take-away tub among sprinkles, a phone version
