Mark and visual identityProject

Sillbeam Architecture

A visual identity for an architecture bureau. The mark is a beam on a post: two lines and a module of air between them. Everything else stands on one grid and one typeface: the letterhead, the business card, the plaque by the entrance, a portfolio spread and the title block of a drawing.

What we made

  • The mark, a beam on a post, and how it is built in modules
  • A six-column page grid and one typeface in three sizes
  • A letterhead, an envelope and a business card: black on white, printed in one ink
  • The plaque by the entrance and its drawing with dimensions
  • A portfolio spread: photos of the house and of the model, captions on the grid
  • The title block of a drawing: the project, the sheet, the scale and the date
