Loafing Otter Bakery

A brand for a small bakery. The mark is an otter on its back holding a loaf, drawn with one line. Instead of printed packaging there is a set of rubber stamps: they go onto kraft bags and boxes by hand, so every print is a little its own.

  • Mark and lettering

    An otter with a loaf: the main mark, a round stamp and a one-line version.

  • Stamps

    A set for packaging: “Fresh bread”, “Baked today” and a date stamp with a window.

  • Palette and paper

    Three colours with HEX and RGB codes, and two papers.

  • Price card

    A card by the counter: three items and their prices.

  • Bag and box

    The mark and the stamps go straight onto kraft, by hand.

  • Sign

    The mark on a round wooden board above the door.

What we made

  • The mark: an otter with a loaf, drawn with one line; a round stamp and a one-line version
  • A set of stamps for packaging: “Fresh bread”, “Baked today” and the baking date
  • A palette of three colours with their codes and two papers, kraft and cream
  • A bag and a box: the mark is stamped straight onto the kraft
